Golf Tenerife

Ambiance: A basic interior – it’s got those horrid upright chairs that everyone seems to have, the few of the bulbs have blown and haven’t been replaced, same with a few chipped plates. But bluntly at this price/quality level who cares?  

 

Service: Friendly, they know their regulars and are pleased to see everyone, regular or not. They’ll try and speak whatever language they can to communicate with you (which is refreshing for Tenerife) and will happily help with the menu.

Food: It may not win awards but it’s just somehow soooo good. I could happily stuff myself with sushi all day here. The mixed maki plate is great value, the sushi is always fresh. In 3 years of dining here regularly I have never once been disappointed. I love the sesame chicken and the tempura batter is as crisp as you can get.

Overall: This is a regular haunt of ours when we have a hankering for Sushi, and also for when we just want to fill up. Tepanyai in Americas is fun but pricey, Sukotay in Golf just doesn’t do it for me, but Jin Shi Jie in Medano is value for money and always good.
